Join us at Alloy26 in Pittsburgh for a BitDevs-style session with Jimmy Song, who will join virtually to present on ProductionReady, a new conservative Bitcoin client initiative focused on open-source development, Bitcoin client diversity, and long-term protocol resilience. This presentation will cover why Bitcoin may benefit from a third serious client implementation, how conservative software defaults can help preserve Bitcoin’s monetary properties, and why node operators having real software choices matters for decentralization. The presentation will be followed by group discussion and Q&A.
The presentation is expected to last 45 minutes. We will then socialize over dinner & drinks at the Federal Galley!
