Join us for a tour of La Cruz coffee farm in Berlin, El Salvador. Now famous for its breathtaking sunsets and organic coffee, La Cruz had been an abandoned coffee farm until 2024, used as a barracks during the civil war and left to the weeds since then. A project like La Cruz has only been possible since the people of El Salvador took the country back out of the hands of violent gangs. 2 years into the project and the farm is working again, providing jobs and producing high quality speciality coffee.

None of this would have been possible without Bitcoin, something the local town Berlin is now known for. All the permanent staff on the farm are paid in Bitcoin, 95% of coffee sales have been paid in Bitcoin and the building materials and tools have been bought with Bitcoin too.
