Japanese Fall Food Festival on Oct. 4, 1-8 pm, at the Salt Lake Buddhist Temple at 211 West 100 South, SLC, UT, Japantown.
The Salt Lake Buddhist Temple is excited to announce its upcoming Japanese Food Festival, happening Friday, October 4, from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Salt Lake Buddhist Temple, 211 West 100 South, Japantown Salt Lake City.
This annual celebration invites the community to experience the flavors and traditions of Japan through a wide variety of delicious dishes prepared by temple members and local volunteers. Attendees can enjoy authentic favorites such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, gyoza, Japanese curry, katsu sandwiches, sushi, desserts, pakkai, and chow mein. The festival is open to the public and admission is “Each year, the Japanese Food Festival brings people together to enjoy authentic flavors and experience Japanese culture right here in downtown Salt Lake City,” said Chris Oki, Salt Lake Buddhist Temple festival organizer. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to support the temple while tasting delicious food and enjoying a vibrant community event.” Food, raffle tickets, and auction items will be available for purchase. Temple tours will also be available.
